Where to get those markers that only work on the special paper?
I know they are $$$ but still cheaper than buying new furniture and repaint everything.
What place has them the cheapest?

Is it Crayola? I guess. The markers only work on the paper. They don't work on anything else.

Keep in mind, it's worth it to start teaching him you can't write on couches.
A two year old, a pen someone left out a leather couch, loveseat & ottoman, I can tell you it's worth it. We did get thousands back from the company because their stain warranty didn't work & then bought the kids' furniture for their rooms...so maybe it wasn't worth it.

They also have washable markers but I haven't tried to wash a couch yet - just off of their hands.

Keep in mind that it takes a couple seconds for the markings to show up on the paper.
That's a little frustrating for them at this age.
We designated a coloring table at our house and the crayons "live" there. They aren't allowed to "visit" any other part of the house without mommy saying so. 
They have a little carrying case where to go "bye-bye" when we are done.

The washable markers are only removable from certain fabrics. I have not tried to get it off of leather or anything like that, but I can tell you it was a b!t@h to get off of my woven couch pillows

I've gotten art supplies in Toys R Us, Kohls and Target. He especially likes the ones that just have water and the color comes out on the page/book. I bought a ton of them on sale on Black Friday, but I know that Kohls and Toys R Us are still haveing great sales.

I am terrified of crayons.
I'm terrified of crayons left on my carseats in the summer.
I wish we had older kids on the board for the BTDT info alone. Would have saved me a lot of trouble
