I went to Pilo Arts Spa in Brooklyn. It was $350 and I use the shampoo they gave me there

I went in NJ/ Bridgewater a place called Great Lengths it was 350 the shampoo and conditioner was 20 dollars each

Lisa - call Cactus in Dix Hills (the one on Jericho by Park Ave). I think they do it and its close to home.

I called the one on Vanderbilt (I can't believe how many Cactus' (Cacti?  ) there are!!!) and they said they do it and it starts at $300
I'm just nervous to go somewhere that no one I "know" has been

from what I've read Brazilian is not permanent...it washes out in 3-4 months
It also does not make your hair pin straight, but takes out the frizz to make it easier to blow out

My appointment is for this upcoming Monday so I will let you know afterwards.
As for where I got the name I did something that I may come to regret, but I went through Craigslist. I emailed about 5 people who said they did it and narrowed it down from there. The guy I chose had competitive pricing, offered to do it at his salon but told me it would be about $150 more, or he could come to me. He was really nice and funny on the phone and also able to provide references.
