Where to go for kids haircuts in Western Suffolk?
I think we're finally going to take DS for his first haircut. He's 14 mos, and although he doesn't have a ton of hair, it's very uneven, and the back is started to get a bit disheveled.
I'd like to take him to a kids place, with the cars and toys all geared toward kids. Any recommendations?
Is that place in the Bay Shore mall still there? Is it any good?
ETA: All the related posts below are from a few years ago.

I 'think' Kids Kutz is still in Bayshore mall; if not they are definitely in Massapequa Mall (sunrise). Go in the afternoon when the guy is there; he's very patient & took a lot of time w/ DS. You get a first haircut certificate & lock of hair too.

Vincent Bruce Kids cuts. It's on Jericho Tpke in Dix Hills. They did a great job on DS!
They have the cars!

For VB I made an appointment but I'm sure you could just walk in. If he has a favorite DVD, bring it and they will play it for him. They also give you a cute envelope for his hair

Thanks for the suggestion. DS loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Olivia. Those are our two go-to DVDs when we want to distract him.
