Where to go next year on vacation? Beach House rental?
We have done Disney 2 years in a row and DS (9) does not want to go again. Since he has a food allergy I would need to go somewhere that has a kitchen in the room so I was thinking of renting a beach house.
Has anyone rented a beach house and if so, where and how?

Where to go next year on vacation? Beach House rental?
We've rented beach houses in Charleston, Virginia Beach and Myrtle Beach the last few summers. Not sure how far you were looking to go but I'd recommend each of those places. There are also nice places in Delaware (Bethany Beach is super family oriented), or even down the NJ shore there are a lot of nice beaches. We booked through VRBO and it was super smooth each time. You can also contact local real estate offices and they'd be able to help you with a rental.

I hear VRBO is a popular site. I go to Myrtle Beach every year and always have a good time. I know the Outerbanks are very popular as well.

myrtle beach area. u can stay in murrells inlet where the houses are nicer.

I grew up going to Beach Haven on LBI, NJ. lots of places to rent
As an adult I have been to Carolina Beach NC and The Outer Banks. Also, Anna Maria Island in FL, and Hutchinson Island in FL.
Also you could do the cape. I stayed at a friends house a bunch when I lived in Boston.

We rent in Kure Beach, NC every year. We use Carolina Beach Realty.

Outer Banks, NC. We have gone several times and have always used Village Realty (www.villagerealtyobx.com).

We do Block Island at least every other year. We've found our homes through VRBO.
(We've also used it for house rentals in Lake Placid in the winter.)
