Where to go on family weekend trip in Nov. for Dad's 60th bday?
My dad turns 60 in Nov. We are talking about going somewhere for a long weekend- two nights over Veteran's Day weekend.
It will be us and our DS will be almost 16 months, my brother and his wife and their 2 1/2 year old, and my parents. They are a very 'young' couple.
We were going to try Hershey, but the actual amusement park is CLOSED that weekend. So bummed. We thought it would be nice becuae the hotel is beautiful and there are great dinners and there is a cool car museum my dad would like... but it won't work. He would have loved to be able to go on rides with the kids.
I am totally stuck on an idea. Can anyone help? We want something that my dad will enjoy, but that will be nice for the kids, too.

What about mystic conn. I think they have a good aquarium there

I second this. Plus it's close to Mohegan Sun for the adults!
