Where to look online for houses? (besides MLSLI)
DH & I will probably start our house hunt in the early part of 2008.
I wanted to start doing some research and preliminary looking around ....
I have been looking on MLSLI.com, but was wondering if there are any other sites I should be looking at?
Where did you look online?

Most if not all of the listings would be on MLS I believe....You can check Newsday for school reports if you are interested in that. If you were going to look into buying for the seller there is forsalebyowner.com

Definitely check Newsday real estate..there were homes on there we hadn't seen on MLS...also, check trulia.com and cyberhomes.com...good luck and have fun!

craigslist, optimumhomes.com, NYTimes, prudential douglas elliman, mlsli, newsday, local southbay news, usually in food stores there are homes for sale catalogs, forsalebyowner.com

my favorite website is
remax
They have the properties you see on MLSLI but it's a map search so you can easily see what price range houses in specific areas/neighborhoods are being listed at.
I've seen other sites with map searches but this seems to have the most properties in one spot
