Where to return Carter's clothes without a receipt?
I have to return a boatload of newborn-6 month Carter's clothes, all with tags.
Where can I return these without a receipt that is relatively easy and will give me the most bang for my buck?
BRU?
Kohl's?
Target?
Somewhere else?
I have an active registry at BRU and assume that might be the easiest, but have so much store credit there I would like to try somewhere else if possible.
Also, does Carter's have different brands for different stores? (i.e. are the "Just one year" clothes specific to a certain place?)
I absolutely 100% do not need them.

look up the SKUS on BRU and add them to your registry, then mark as purchased by changing the qty to 1; then go to BRU and return them. if they see them on your registry as purchased you can return them.

Most places, you need a receipt now.
Just One Year of only from Target but they will not take it back without a receipt.
Maybe try the Carter's store directly. They might exchange it.
Otherwise, you might want to try selling it as a lot on Craig's list or ebay.

I've taken stuff back to the Carter's outlet without receipt - they will give current price if they still have in the system. I believe I returned items that were not purchased at the outlet (but not positive).

I went to the Carter's outlet in Bellport. They took everything I had and gave me store credit.

Carters will take any carters clothes. The problem is if they have been reduced in price recently, you can end up getting next to nothing in store credit. Try BBB...

Kohl's takes without a receipt.
I had good luck there with all my carter's returns.

I found since I had BRU registry that I got the best price there. As long as you have a registry they take it all back, it does not even have to be on your registry. I found Carters and Kohls give you the lowest price which always seems very very low.

BRU knows when something Carter's is from Kohl's etc. I got rejected on a bunch of things. Also, I've used the registry trick BUT have been called out on it once or twice- if they make the effort they actually CAN see when u added it.
