Where to take my DD on a Mini-Vacation?
I am a single mom and really want to take my DD on a mini-vacation, just me and her. I was just away without her and was so jealous of all the parents playing in the pool/beach with their kids (dont' get me wrong, I quite enjoyed reading and tanning without a 3 y/o  ) so I thought i would take her somewhere this summer. I don't want to fly and want to keep it on the cheaper side. I was thinking of Dutch Wonderland/Lancaster (we've done Sesame Place 2x), but does anyone have other ideas for a non-amusement park based trip that is resort-like in driving distance? TIA~

Lake George is nice and there's lots to do!
Mystic, Connecticut might be a nice trip as well
