Where would you go?
My dad is treating us (me, dh, 3yo dd, 5yo dd) and my sisters family (her, husband, 6yo and 10yo) to vacation.
We’ll be going for 4 days in September over Rosh Hashanah.
So far on the table are...
Beaches Turks and Caicos
Atlanta
Chicago
Any other ideas?
My sister refuses to do a cruise and refuses to take her kids out of school (so we are restricted there).

Where would you go?
Out of those 3 I would say Chicago.
A beach resort with a bunch of young kids sounds like the least relaxing thing ever. I'd save that for a kid-free trip.

Sounds like fun!
All are great. I’d focus on a short travel time there to max out the vacation days.
Chicago is a lot of fun, Atlanta is great too. Beaches T&C looks amazing, but I have never put up the $$$ to visit.

Beaches T&C has a kids camp included though.... so they could go there while adults hang on the beach.
I've never been there, but heard its amazing!! I'd do that!!!

Where would you go?
I'd pick T&C - my favorite island. But, if I was picking one of the cities, I'd pick Chicago over Atlanta. They're both great cities, but I think there is more to do and see in Chicago

What about Myrtle Beach or one of the beach towns down there? It is still nice and warm and you can easily get there from NY.

T&C... but you have to go in realizing that beach vacations are a blast and a lot of fun but so different then when it is only adults!

Same. And Atlanta was eh - although the aquarium was nice.

So we actually decided to get a 5 bedroom house at woodloch pines
I’ve never been and I’m excited for all the activities for the kids.
