Where would you put the tent for DS's 1st birthday
Now that we have our fence up I really need to start focusing on the details of his party.
Where would you put up the tent? Not sure where the best location for it would be - Here are pics - it can either go to the left of the patio (behind where the BBQ is) - or back along the back of the yard (next to the shed) What do you think would be a better setup? Image Attachment(s):

Diana...the fence came out great!!!! We are getting ours put up on Friday...can't wait!
Personally, I would put it towards the back to the left of the shed. Keep the patio open for entry into and out of the house since the tables go under the tent and could get in your way...you know how everyone spreads out.

Thanks - I love it too - it feels like a different backyard.
That's prob what we'll do - keep the grassy area against the house open - next to the patio. 100 adults and 50 kids back there - scares the heck out of me

Re: Where would you put the tent for DS's 1st birthday
I would move the BBQ so its back was against the house & in between the patio & tent. This way you're not smoking out the people in the tent & you dont' have a hot BBQ where people may walk.
The reason I wouldn't put it in near the shed is if it is raining or rained recently, people are walking on wet grass to get there. Also it's a shorter distance to food, drinks, etc. for any of the elderly.
I agree with everyone else - great yard!

I should have stated that the BBQ wasn't going to stay in that spot - sorry about that. We are redoing all of the landscaping - so that's getting moved. And, we are hiring a guy whose bringing a big grill with him!
Thanks for all the feedback!
