Which blanket do you use to swaddle? Too many choices.

I am trying to figure out which blanket my NB likes best. At this point, he seems to dislike all our choices.

Is it possible that a NB does not like to be swaddled or should we keep at it?

did you try the swaddle me where you can just velcro your baby in?

after about 2-3 weeks my ds did not want to be swaddled anymore. so its possible your baby does not like it. give it a few more tries though.

Some babies don't like it, but we use the Kiddopotamus Swaddle Me. They come in different fabrics and sizes, and they have the velcro closure.

First couple of nights he wouldn't take to it, but now he loves it. GL!

loved the swaddle me. Thought DS hated it but it was the only thing that helped him sleep in the beginning!

and it was just that-a miracle!!!
DD slept 7 hours the first night we used it. i wished i had found it earlier!

DD didn't really like the swaddle me but the halo newborn sleep sack that has the swaddling blanket attached worked great.

I used the hospital blanket.

the miracle blanket, and like another poster said..it was a MIRACLE for us

we use the swaddle me on DD and the miracle blanket on DS. most babies have a love hate relationship with the swaddle. they hate it at first but will then relax and sleep really well.

I didn't like the miracle blanket, plus DD doesn't like having her arms down when swaddled. I much prefer the swaddle me blankets.

I use both, sometimes the Swaddle Me and sometimes the MB.

we LOVE the swaddle me - so much easier than a regular blanket

During the day and for naps, we used the Gerber thermal blankets when DD was little. They're nice and stretchy and we found that we could get a nice tight swaddle. We used the SwaddleMe at night.

As DD got older, we switched to the Aden + Anais muslim blankets. They're much bigger than most other blankets so it made swaddling easier. Those blankets are also lightweight so it was nice for the summer.

Some babies love swaddling and others don't. Make sure you have a nice tight swaddle.

I use the swaddle me blanket for DS and he LOVES it. He has been sleeping through the night since he was 6 weeks old. I'm still using it and he is 3 months (had to get the size large).
