Which car seat with the City Select stroller? + some other questions
Hi moms!
I'm leaning towards the City Select stroller but am now trying to decide on an infant car seat.
I like the Britax Chaperone and see that the City Select now makes an adapter for that seat...but do you think the Britax Chaperone is worth the extra money over the Britax B-Safe? I like the quick-adjust harness on the Chaperone.
Also, what exactly do I need to register for? The infant car seat, bases, convertible seats?? I'm so confused.
I appreciate any input...thanks!

I have the City Select and the Graco Snugride. I love the way it fits. I also loved the Snap and go. I know the frame with the adaptor acts as a snap and go, but unless you have another child already, I would get a carseat and a snap and go. Trust me, you'll thank me. In the stores, restaurants, etc, I always used my snap and go. On walks, I always used my big stroller. As far as registering, it's up to you. I knew there were going to be 100 women at my shower so I registered for everything, including my convertible car seats.

I have the bsafe and love it w the select. I think it's totally matter of preference and $. We can't use the snap and go but I have to say that i like the select w the seat removed better. It's pretty light. Only draw back is it has to be stored flat in your trunk else the wheels get screwed up.

We have a britax b safe car seat. I love that the adapter is so simple and not a pain to put on and off.
I think the chaperone isn't really worth the extra $$
The stroller comes with the frame and 1 seat. You would need to get the car seat adapter and any other accessories like cup holder or parent console.
I like that the britax car seat adapter is 20$ rather than 100$.
I use my stroller with just the car seat, one seat and as a double (2 seats or1seat and car seat)
I honestly wouldn't get a snap and go if your getting the select there is no need. It can do the same thing it's just a bit heavier.
Also wanted to add I don't store mine flat and my wheels are fine.

We have this car seat as well. It was rated I think same as graco one of the top seats for infants.

Whichever infant seat weighs in at the lightest.  Trust me, I had 2.
Graco Snugride 30 for us.
I am not a fan of the snap n go. I didn't like that you had to strap in the seat and it teetered a bit.
The Joovy was great for my infant seat because it snapped in perfectly and it didn't move.

That's so strange. On my snap and go the seat just snapped in. There was no strap and it didn't teeter. What brand is yours?

we have the Chicco Keyfit 30 & use it with the Keyfit Caddy. We love it! Easy and convenient.

It was the regular snap and go double. I never used it... Just returned it new for the Joovy Roo
