Which doctor
Has anyone had experiences with either dr. Palter or dr. Trivax. I'm looking into doctors for ivf with pgd since dh and I are both carriers for cystic fibrosis. These are the 2 drs that my obgyn recommended. Thanks in advance

I used Dr. Mukherjee at RMA and was pleased with my care. I now have 6 month old DS.

I think it depends on when you're free to go for monitoring and testing, and where you're located. I.e. there are places that can do bloodwork and sonograms early AM near work rather than close to home. You may also be comfortable knowing that many places have a doctor see you each time, not just a nurse or a NP. Insurance coverage is also a factor! So many of us have experience with many specialists on LI. I am sure you'll find the right one to fit your needs by asking here Good luck1

if you go to RsofNy and see Dr T or any of the Doc, you must be very proactive and stay on top of them. They have given me wrong results and over looked things.
I don't know about Dr. P, but my last OBgyn liked him

Which doctor
I was with dr Trivax for over a year. He was extremely supportive with my losses and gave me his advice but was always open to what I wanted to do. I am currently pregnant with twins through ivf with PGD testing. I love dr Trivax but I didn't love everyone in that office. I had no problems with any of the drs but I did encounter mistakes by the nurse practitioner. Luckily, I always went with my gut and knew when something was off. You can also tell Trivax that you will only deal with certain people and he will make sure that is in your chart. He is a very positive supportive dr and I know 2 other people who have switched to him and are very happy.

Re: Which doctor
I like Dr. Trivax but I wouldn't recommend that office if you're going for regular treatments. If you're going for just counseling/advice and then will get pregnant on your own, then going to see Dr. Trivax would be good. I saw on your other post that someone mentioned Dr. Stelling in the same practice - he did one of my IUIs and I liked him a lot.

ITA. If you don't want a factory feel place then I would look elsewhere.

Depends on where you are located. The mineola office does feel like a factory. No doubt. But the West Islip & StonyBrook office were much more personal. Especially W Islip Office. That's was my top pick

Yes, I should make it clear I was talking about Mineola. I've had positive interactions with Trivax (he did my D&C and was very kind and informative) and Stelling. My problems with RSoNY are with the unreasonable wait times in Mineola, the disorganization of the office (not getting phone calls back; doctors and nurses not even reading my chart before speaking to me and having no idea what I was there for), and the ridiculous lack of compassion I got from my doctors when I was miscarrying.

I went to Hershlag/Chu/Scholl/Cohen/Mullin/Rausch at North Shore in Manhasset. I was more than happy! The location worked for me, the doctors saw you each time and the nurses were amazing. Under Dr. Hershlag, there are many new policies in place that have improved it. However, some people here didn't like it and would recommend elsewhere. Different reasons for each person!

RSofNY is not considered a center of excellence anymore and some insurance companies will tell you to look elsewhere
it is very clear why they have been taken off the list

I used Dr. Palter and I had a great experience. The staff was great, early monitoring appts available and only one doctor so it didn't feel like a factory as some offices are. Dr. Palter was thorough and compassionate. If you have any other questions or concerns, you can always message me. Good luck!
