I like the second one....I am a little partial b/c we used those for DD's 1st birthday favors though. I love that they have a top that closes for storage purposes. DD loves opening and closing it too.

It's really a toss for me..
I've received #2 as a favor and I've found gotten so many uses out of it, but I can see how #1 could be useful too.

I know my DD loves to open and close her too. They would be both personlized.

Are you going to be putting anything inside?
If no...then definitely #2
If yes...depends on how you are "packaging" it.So yeah..not much help. If it was a lot of stuff the open container would probably be helpful. But what I love about #2 is that it closes...for after the party use...kwim?

no I'm not really going to put anything inside. Maybe a little bag of organic cookies or regular cookies (for the older kids) or something along those lines.

Just to give more of a feel for the 1st one, here's that container that I am using for my son's party in Feb. BTW- it's REALLY big and serves as a nice tor storage container:

OK...I measured...it's almost 12 inches long by 8 inches wide by 7 inches deep. It's huge!
