I would go with the leave replacement.

Re: which is better?

It depends.

I would say the part time....if you can afford the salary. You know that your job doesn't depend on someone else returning. Also does the part time position have the potential to turn into a full time position?

A leave replacement could be good. I was a leave replacement twice. The first time it was for a year long position. The person I was in for came back and I didn't have a job come June.
I took another leave replacement the next year in a different district and it turned into a tenured track position.

It's almost like a game of luck...both choices have positive and negatives and you just have to see which one is better for you.

Good luck!

Re: which is better?

I was actually faced with this choice my first year of teaching and I chose the part time position - that paid off great because I went full time within three weeks of school - I just completed my third year of tenure track

What is the part time position? Mine was 9/10 so I only needed one half year course. Depending on what yours is may be a consideration also.

On the other hand, my friend had a leave replacement for a full year, then, they hired her the next year and the year of leave counted towards tenure too.

I would look at the districts and decide where you see yourself.

I hope I did not confuse you more!!
