Which is better

I am deciding between a GRACO snugrider or the safe seat. What do you recommend and why?

I would say to go with the snugride. I believe it got better safety ratings than the safeseat; it has always had impeccable ratings; and I chose it mostly because by the time the baby reaches the weight limit for the safeseat, they will probably be too heavy for me to carry in the seat anyway; and lastly, it is usually much less expensive.

I chose a snugride based on the ratings and the fact that the extra bases weren't too expensive (we have quite a few for grandparents). My daughter at 15 months can still fit in the snugride based on the height/weight recommendations, but I retired it at 10 months because she looked uncomfortable and it was too heavy to carry her around in it.
