Which is better.. BRU or BBB?? (POLL)
i was thinking about registering with BRU but noticed the furnitures that i'm interested doesn't have good reviews.
Just wondering which store is better and why.

Although it isnt one of your choices, Ive been hearing that Behrs is the best for furniture and BRU for all other registry type stuff.

BRu is better as a store. It has more selection and is country wide - so your family that doesn't live in the East still will have access to BRU - but not BBB.
As furniture, BBB has more high- end modern furniture - where BRU is more middle of the line - though I think quailty is good and bad in each. You just have to find the right furniture.

I think the two stores have similar yet different products. That is, BBB caries "higher end" items. I.e. BBB has the bugaboo and the graco snugride with all of the features whereas BRU does not have the highest end models of the snugride (milan or metropolitan or the red one). Both BRU and BBB carry the basic and midrange models for the same price. For things like Dreft or blocks the prices are virtually identical. I also prefered the quality of the cribs and casegoods at BBB over BRU. As for clothing they carry the same stuff.

I don't like BBB. I don't like the layout at all.
I registered at BRU because I have a lot of family out of state and also because I love their selection a lot better.
If BBB had something I wanted but BRU didn't have, I bought it myself.
I also bought our furntirue at BRU and it took forever but I love it.

I loved BBB for my registry. They have a great selection and, imo, higher quality items, ie, strollers, carseats, etc. I shop at both now for different reasons.

I didn't like BBB at all. They had a very limited selection of strollers in store. And the website doesn't seem to have much.
I found BRU to have more online, which I wanted so I didn't have to register in the store.

I am biased because back in the day I used to work for BRU. That being said I really think BRU has a better floor plan then BBB. Also they are more conveniently located. When i shop at BBB I feel like it is very cluttered and packed in.

I would recommend this as well. This is what we did. As another poster mentioned, there are several products that are not offered at BRU (i.e. Graco Snugrider). But BRU is much more accessible for people all around the country and it has a lot of other products.
I wasn't going to register at both places until I found out that BRU didn't have the stroller and infant carseat that we wanted. The BBB salesperson told us that some companies specifically choose either BRU or BBB to sell their products and not both.

BRUs' selection is much better IMO and their website and registries are much easier to navigate. BBB has unique designs and choices but I wouldn't say that they're better than BRU.

Yeah? I thought BBB had WAY more strollers in store than any BRU that I have ever seen.
Plus just be careful with what you register for online with BRU, I registered for a pack and play and recieved two and I had to try 3 BRUs to return it. They only take it if they carry that pattern in store

I think so too. Everytime I go into a BRU, I feel like I am walking into a Walmart. I don't mean to offend anyone registered there, it's just been my personal experience. Everytime I go, it's crowded, the store is messy and the lines are long.
The big plus is that they are nationwide like the other ladies mentioned.

I guess different stores have different merchandise. It seemed like mine (in VA) only had Bugaboo, and maclaren strollers. I saw ONE chicco stroller, and no carseat. I hardly saw any Gracos either.

I did both, BRU to me is better but BBB has a better selection of items, colors etc so I split it up.
it also was somewhat easier it a BRU wasnt in their area or a BBB.
