Which SUVs/crossover cars get good gas mileage??
my parents have an ACURA MDX right now but the lease is almost up & are looking for a new car ... their MDX gets great gas mileage but they want something new...
any recs would be appreciated!!!

We are looking into this right now.
So far the good ones I have found are:
Murano
Rogue
Compass
CRV
RAV4
I really like the Mazda CX7, but the mpg s u c k!

i have the CX7 and it doesnt "s u c k" per se. 
on a full tank we get about 200-220 miles. i LOVE my car!!!! its roomy and for the price that we pay monthly for our CX7 fully loaded with all wheel drive, Nissan was offering us the Murano with nothing in it but a CD player.

I just got an '07 huyndai santa fe, and i get about 22-24 hwy miles and 18-19 stop and go miles per gallon.

i have a 2006 toyota RAV4... the newer, bigger body style and i LOVE it. its so comfortable to drive, and the gas mileage is great.
i have the 4 cylinder model. i was going to get the 6 cylinder, but when i test drove the 4 it had great pick up, plus i knew the gas mileage would be better.
i get about 24 mpg with stop and go, and we've gotten up to about 28 or so on long trips on the highway.... not bad for a roomy SUV! definitely worth checking out!

I have zero complaints about our '07 CR-V.
Ditto.. .I'm getting 21 mpg and for the most part I'm only driving it on local roads, not highway.

I get about the same in my ML350 Mercedes
it's a great SUV- very sporty- but still a mercedes

I am just going by what the pamphlet says - 16 city/22 highway...
