Which tub from these two??
I want to choose between these two tubs to put on my registry. They both get great reviews. I know the First Years one (darker blue) has a sling for newborns, don't think the Whale one does.
If it matters, we live in an apartment with only one bathroom, very limited counter space, and single sink in the kitchen.
Which would you recommend? Thanks!

we have the whale tub and love it. DS is big and quickly outgrew the infant section, so we very easily removed the green thing and use it that way. AND it makes a great sled!

We have the whale one. I like the green thing that helps hold him up. Just one piece of advice, we keep a thin towel under DS in it to help keep him from sliding around and banging his head.

I have the first one. But...as your child grows this will be too small, just an FYI
and we did always use the sling.

Re: Which tub from these two??
We have the whale and like it very much. DS is 6 months and I still have the green insert in. It helps keep him in place. He went in this tub right after his umbilical cord fell off and have had no problems.
I just like that it's simple and minimal parts and crevaces to clean. DS like the little sprinkle cup that came with it!
Since you have limited space though, you may want to consider an inflatable tub. Most of them have a suction cup to hang them on the shower/tub wall so you can still use it and not have to have a place to store a hard tub. You can get a sling to use in the beginning that is small enough to stow behind the toilet or something. Just a thought.

I have the Whale tub and wish I got the other one! The Whale tub is bulky and my kid now will not sit in still in it. The first one looks more sturdy.

I have the first one and it works great! We use it in the kitchen sink and it fits in there perfectly.

We have the first years one and loved it. The sling was perfect, I don't know how we would have bathed him w/o it. Then when he sat up he loved it. Now he doesn't use it anymore but I would get it again if I had to get another one.

Re: Which tub from these two??
Thanks! I'm going to stick with the smaller First Year's tub since it has the sling and is smaller (space is an issue). Then we can get one of those inflatable ones for when baby is bigger.
