Which would you choose - swingset Q - Final decision - Poll
We saw a used Step 2 swingset. 1 slide and 1 swing. Good shape. Totally resaleable later on. We need to take apart and rebuild but it's "easy". I guess!
For the same price we can get a new metal swingset with 3 swings and 1 slide. The new one is a bit "less" childish. Age group is still 2-10 years old though.
Both the same price.
We need to rent a truck to get both. They are both too big for my small SUV.
Which would you choose?
I like the Step2 as this is plastic, won't rust and I have more a sense of "safety" since it's plastic although I know I would have to supervise DS anyway.
I like the new metal swingset, more than 1 swing which mean he can have playdate and less likely to outgrow the set.
Which would you choose?

I vote for the New Metal swingset. We just bought one from Walmart that also has a teeter totter. We also bought a baby swing and replaced one of the big swings that came with it.

Probably metal if it's for older kids. It goes fast...before you know it he'll outgrow both.

i would choose the metal...it will last through more stages in your DC life so you wont have to go and buy a new one a year from now!

I am a big plastic swingset fan. Is there an extension kit you can get down the line to add another swing to the Step 2 one?

No. It's an older model. It's like that but with only 1 swing. It's actually a bit smaller than it looks like. The swing portion is on the small size. The top bar is leveled with my head and I am short.
