While you are out buying school supplies

If you can afford to pick up an extra item or two, the John Theissen Children's Foundation is collecting school supplies through 7/31 for underprivileged children on LI. Donations can be dropped off at Roslyn Savings Bank locations.



They are a really good organization that does a lot for sick kids on LI. We've been to a few events they have and know a family that directly benefited from the organization.

This is great! Thanks for posting it, I can't believe how long my 2nd grader's supply list is here in Queens, and I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford it all and I will do what I can to help those that cannot.
