white pants/shoes in winter... in FL?
I've been wondering this for a while now. Does the "no white pants/shoes after Labor Day" rule apply in warmer climates in the US? Would it be inappropriate to wear white pants in somewhere like FL or southern Cali right now? Thanks.

I wore white pants in Fla over Thansgiving. Actually, my SIL told me that people look at you funny if you wear black in Fla, so I figured white was probably safe.

According to Stacy and Clinton ( What not to wear) that rule is loooong gone. Antiquated fashion no-no

Thanks. I will definitely go for it. I must admit that I still follow that rule though (here in NY anyway). I love wearing white in heavier materials in the winter ("winter white" i guess), but i couldn't see myself wearing something like white jeans here in NY in the winter.
