wet/water bounce houses/slides - can i avoid the whole area or should i just suck it up and let the kids have fun!!!
how much time do you need there? don't plan on doing the mining thing or pony ride but the bird feeding seems cool
to stroller or not to stroller?

Re: white post farm ? (lunch, stroller, bounce house)
You can bring your own food but they do sell stuff there and there is also a little food mart (expensive but yummy) right outside the farm and greenhouse area.
The bouncers are in the back and totally avoidable. The kids will see them when looking at the animals but you can make the judgment call when you get there.
We usually spend an hour or two there. There is a playground as well where the kids can run around and climb, there are little houses they can play in, plenty of animals to feed, and a little train ride which is very cute. The bird feeding is also a cute experience but when we went it was new and the birds must have all been full b/c they wouldn't come down for us
Our kids love it - have fun!!
ETA: if your youngest is 3 you definitely do not need a stroller, Luca hasn't used a stroller there since he was 2

the above poster already gave you good advice. i was there on monday and the bouncers were deflated....not sure why but i was glad since my kids couldn't go on. also i brought a stroller but left it on the side with nothing in it and used it as needed as my 2 yr old prefers to run everywhere. hav fun it's really cute there!

Re: white post farm ? (lunch, stroller, bounce house)
Double check about the bouncers, because I thought they were only inflated Friday-Sunday. But now that school is out maybe that has changed. We were there 2 weeks ago during the week, and none of that stuff was inflated.
ETA: They put the water bouncers between two of the playgrounds, so it is going to be hard to avoid if they are inflated.

We were there last month during the week as well and the bouncers were not inflated and the bird feeding area was closed. At that point both were only open on the weekends. I would call first to check if you are really looking forward to either one.

Re: white post farm ? (lunch, stroller, bounce house)
We went there on Father's Day. My kids loved the bird feeding! We brought our twin stroller with us, but we didn't really need it. Our kids preferred walking around. The stroller acted more as a holder for our diaper bag and camera bag. I plan on ditching the stroller next time.
I think we spent maybe 3 hours there? We went right after lunch and spent most of the afternoon there (and avoided the bounce houses).

Re: white post farm ? (lunch, stroller, bounce house)
The bouncers are up Thurs - Sun.
It's IMPOSSIBLE to avoid them if you do a pony ride or mining bc the wet ones are set up right next to that area. If you stay "inside" by the bird thing and the animals you can avoid them, but then the kids will miss out on the playgrounds, the train ride and the little play houses.
After 2 hours, I am usually done, but if it was up to DD, she would stay there all day.

I've never boon there but def plan to go in the future! As a first time mom, I'm very curious . . . Why do you want tho avoid the bounce houses? Is it a safety issue or something else?

I agree..
My kids LOVE that place and we go there often.. we usually spend hours there and they go on everything there.. including the bounce houses and wet bouncers...
and then I'll drive them home later all conked out lol
I usually pack snacks and food but I've also bought stuff there as well.

Re: white post farm ? (lunch, stroller, bounce house)
thought i should answer my own questions, since i went today!!!
should i bring our own lunch? not sure if we even can
yes, you can but i ended up not. the three of us shared an order of nuggets and fry's. i did pack our own drinks
wet/water bounce houses/slides - can i avoid the whole area or should i just suck it up and let the kids have fun!!!
it was easy to avoid the wet stuff but not easy avoid seeing the water slides and asking about them. but it was simple to say we did not bring bathing suits, ect...
how much time do you need there? don't plan on doing the mining thing or pony ride but the bird feeding seems cool.
like i thought we did not do the train, pony or mining thing. we did the bird feeding, dry bounce houses and two buckets of goat food. 3.5 hours including a brake for lunch and a snow cone
to stroller or not to stroller?
did not bring stroller and it was great!!! its small enough not to need a stroller, kids are almost 3 and 5.
