Whitestone people!
Where do you grocery shopping?
I'm finding Waldbaums SUPER expensive, Key Food very limited, but still have no idea where the good grocery stores are. Can you share your stores and locations? Thank you!

There's a pathmark along the Whitestone Expwy - I don't know how there prices are though.

I always used the Waldbaums on 20th Avenue, but the one in Beechhurst on 154th Street and 10th Ave may be cheaper. There is also another Key Food on Parsons Blvd. and Willets Pt. Blovd that might be cheaper. Personally, I never went to pathmark because it was always so crowded.

Yep - in order to get the best deals you have to brave the crowds.
Sometimes we go to the Waldbaums in Beechurst or the one on 20th, but you could get so much more for your $ at Pathmark.

Scary b/c I lived there for 3 years & looking back cannot remember where we went....I'm thinking the small keyfood in W. S. Center for little stuff & then think we did Waldbaums off 154th Street.

The Pathmark along the Whitestone Expwy is the cheapest, but I don't think I'd go there at night- IMO the area's a little sketchy.
I lived there for almost 9 years and while I usually went to Key Food or the Waldbaums on 154, I'd also go to the Stop and Shop on Northern Blvd in Little Neck. Not the most convenient and always a zoo, but they had good deals. I'd also try to do big shopping at the Stop and Shop near my parent's house in Levittown.
