Who actually waited the recommended amt of months before TTC again?

Dr said I should wait 3months even though she says a lot of women dont listen to her and go on to have healthy pregnancies right after miscarriage. DH and I are very anxious to start over again and want to start ASAP.

I had to have a D&C and my dr told me to wait 2 cycles.... my 2nd cycle should be around June 10th and we are trying right after that.l

I knew that if I tried sooner and something happened I would never be able to forgive myself. She says to wait 2 cycles so the lining can get healthy again and for your body to prepare again.

I didnt even wait 1 cycle, woops! Not recommended but we couldnt help it.

Anyway 2 doctors told me 1 cycle was plenty. We are on cycle 2 post D&C and cannot TTC this month for other reasons, ughhhhhhhh. But no bfp for me yet but I do know many do get pregnant very fast! Good luck!

I would listen to what the doctor said.

My doctor always told me to just wait until I got AF for the first time post mc.

I did.

After having a d&c I waited the 3 months as per my two doctors (OB and Peri). During that time I underwent a bunch of testing as well so I didn't want to try before we knew "why" the miscarriage happened. We didn't get an answer, all testing came back normal.

The wait was torture at times but I'm glad we listened. If something happened again I wouldn't forgive myself for not following the doctors orders even though it seems like fertility is increased right after.

I would wait the reccommended amount of time the doctor told you. They give you that time frame for a reason. My doctor only told us to wait one cycle, but we will be waiting approximately two or three.

If god forbid something happened again because my body wasn't ready to be pregnant yet I just wouldn't be able to forgive myself.

Three months goes by really fast. Give your body the proper time to heal. My miscarriage lasted 6 weeks (I passed the sac on the sixth week) so I really needed time to heal. I wanted my body to be the strongest it could to hold a little baby.

I was told I can try after I got my period. All doctors have different opinions on this

Mine was Nov 30th and I was preggo Jan 3. I am glad I didnt wait. I keep looking at the sono and thinking its a true blue miracle. I dont think its for everyone but you guys will know. Also, adding that I think i would feel differently if I had a d&c then a natural miscarriage.

I am going through a chemical right now and my doctor said to wait two cycles before ttc again. I am not listening. It's been tough for us to conceive in the past, so I would be shocked if we got another bfp so quick anyway.

I miscarried in March and my doc said to wait 3 months. We will start TTC again in June. It's been pretty hard not to do it sooner, but I'm so scared it's going to happen again, so I'll do whatever the doc says.

I would say to wait what your MD told you. Every case is unique so I think that has a lot to do with the different time tables. My ob/gyn told us a lot of women get pregnant quickly after a miscarriage. I asked if that happened with DH and I if that would be OK. He said that I'm healed fine and as long as we were emotionally ready, it's not a problem. He said that as far as going back to the RE, he wants us to wait 1 cycle though b/c that's more invasive.
