Who are the troupers teaching summer school?
ME!!! I just became house poor and Im having a baby in September - no choice - we need the $$$$. Anyone else?

LOTS of money to pass up and a HEAVILY air conditioned building. My students need it - they are medicated.

I'm not a DOE teacher. I teach in a psychiatric day treatment center that is a 12 month program, optional for teachers but not our clinicians.

I am. . .summer school for me ends at 1:08 so I have enough time to do things with DS after! It is also only 30 days so it doesn't really bother me! I would go crazy those 10 weeks at home!

Me! Though I'm only going in for two weeks, 8-5. My building doesnt have a/c, and we're on the third floor. The heat is more than a little awful, but we need the money for Baby M!

Goldi0218...if you don't mind would, what psychiatric day treatment center do you work at? I am a certified birth-2nd grade early childhood and special education teacher. I am currently unemployed (well besides working at the preschool summer program for the next 6 weeks). That sounds like something I am completely interested in. I want to work with children with special needs etc. and it is getting hard finding those jobs. Is your place of employment hiring at all?
