Who can fix my boots? I need a shoe maker!
My beloved boots are wearing thin. I 've tried 3 local shoe repair places that can fix the heel&sole but they won't replace the leather.
The leather around the toe is scuffed and scratched, and wearing out. I know they can make it look better, but it won't last long. Would I really like to do it rebuild the boot from the last seam down- replacing the leather on the toe, along with a new sole & heel.
I bought these boots in Italy almost 3 years ago. I wear them ALL the time. I'm not ready to say goodbye yet, and I haven't found any suitable replacements. HELP! Image Attachment(s):

Try Tonys in Manhasset
The shops on the Mile bring repairs to him. $ but very good.

There's a little place on Merrick Rd. in Massapequa on the block between Smokin' Al's and the highschool, that may be able to help.

I go to Augies on Bedford Avenue in Bellmore. Hes fixed the impossible for me so he's worth a shot!
My DH had suede loafers that were soaked in mud and he fixed them. He also took my 2 year old favorite pumps and made em brand spankin new.
He's the best!

There is also a shoe repair on post ave in westbury I believe it is called westbury bootery. Its on post ave just north of Winthrop street. (There are two on post ave, this one is by the Dunkin Donuts).

Based on the replies, I assume you live in Nassau. If not or willing to travel, there is a an awesome guy in Huntington.

Nope, I live in Suffolk, but am willing to travel to fix them. I was thinking I may even need to go to NYC.

It's actually called Post Ave Bootery and they are amazing!
