Who do you report Animal Cruelty case to on Long Island?

Who do you report Animal Cruelty case to on Long Island?
I am disgusted by what I saw tonight when I went to one of the local malls. They had rabbits in an area and they were selling these two rabbits for $2.99 each. I never heard of such a thing. They were this much money because of their size. Now I have had rabbits for my whole life practically and it was of normal size...not obese or any thing of this nature. Well when looking at them close up, their behinds were matted with fur and were brown....like these rabbits seemed to have diarrhea and it looked like their insides were protruding out. Now I have had rabbits with diarrhea and it smells...these rabbits didn't smell but some thing was just not right. They had to be sick!! They however were jumping around fine...but I had a rabbit that was sick and didn't act sick until it was too late Do you think this would be an animal cruelty case? Who would I report this to?

Try the League for Animal Protection. I've had to call them on a few occasions and, always, got results.
