Who else has the urge to chop off their hair

I've got very long hair almost down to my butt...I've never ever had short hair. I'm done blow drying it everyday, and wearing it in a pony tail when I'm too exhausted to take care of it. I feel like I'm going to chop it off. I called an made an appointment and I think I may just hack it. DH says I'm an irrational pregnant woman. He also said he doesn't "want his young wife (I'm 27 lol) to have some old woman grandma cut).

Am I the only one who is going crazy about their hair?

I would shave all my hair off right now if I knew I wouldn't regret it once the baby is born in 10 days. LOL I'm so H-O-T!!!!!!

I've been contemplating a chop myself. My hair is naturally curly, but I straighten it everyday because I hate it curly! It take me forever to get ready in the morning, I know I will not have the time to do that once the baby comes and I have no idea what the heck I'm gonna do with my hair!

I have very curly hair and it has become a huge, frizzy mop since I've become pregnant. I would love to shave my and start fresh... Not sure if I'd still have a hubby once the baby is here, though!

WOw, down to your butt? You can get a big cut and still have your hair look long and young! Go for it!!! Do it right above your bra strap.

I've been wanting to chop mine off too.... Im going with the short in the back and longer in the front. Im sick and tired of my hair all over the place now

Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy says that you reach a point in your pregnancy where you think it is a good idea to cut off your hair -- and urges you NOT to do it - hahahah! I guess it is a preggo thing?

I feel the same way! I'm totally itching for a hair cut!

I am going to wait until after I have the baby and my hair starts falling out before I cut it. But I was thinking about going today to get it snipped!

I chopped 4 inches 2 months ago and no one could tell. So I chopped another 8 inches. It feels soooo much better! Healthier, easier to style and not so HOT all of the time!

Here are two pics. One on the beach in Florida, last month. The other one is last week. You can see I cut off a LOT.

I feel the same way! If you do chop it, donate it to Pantene Beautiful Lengths (they only need a min of 8")

I had the urge and I did it last week!! It was long, about halfway down my back, and I cut it to barely past my shoulders. I love it, and it is so much easier, and looks much healthier

I chopped my hair off last year it was about down to my butt also and now its a little past my shoulders and I wish it was longer. Its to short to let it air dry. I wish it was longer. Maybe cut a couple of inches but I would go more then that. You might regret it?

I already did...though mine wasn't quite as long. After the baby gets here, I just feel like I won't have time to dry so much hair. And I don't air dry well.

had the urge and i did it...so much better...i was living with it in a pony tail and it was driving me crazy, felt like it looked horrible, i used to have short hair before i got married, around 8 years ago, so i knew what to expect and so happy i did, feel more like myself now..needed that change
