YUP my neighbor called I didn't pick up bad thing is my car is out front and the dog is out back she knows im home

I do all the time. And then when I speak to the person they'll say "I thought you were homne?" I reply, "yeah, I was in the crapper"

Someone was at my door, and I muted the tv & stayed on the couch so he'd think we weren't home, but he wouldn't go away!

I do. If I don't know who it is, or if its someone I don't want to speak to at the moment, I don't answer.

bad thing when its a neighbor and they drive past they KNOW I am home and then I feel bad

We screen a lot. We have a great built-in excuse... "I had to comfort the baby for an hour because the phone woke her up from her much needed nap....." Who's going to question a tired baby? Plus, hopefully they'll feel guilty about calling, and will just email next time.

as im reading this my neighbor calls... i ignored it.. she alwyas takls and talk and talks
it drives me insane.. i dont answer like 4 calls then she comes over 'to see if im ok"

Just b/c you are home doesn't mean you have to answer the phone. I ignore calls all the time.

I like my ME time - uninterrupted. We are not obligated to chat with people on THEIR schedules.

I do, I hate the phone in general...the other day the doorbell rang while I was nursing baby & it kept ringing, I just let it go. I heard the guy say, well both their cars are there...(don't know who he was talking to or who it was).
