Who else is doing food prep right now??
we're going to my mom's for thanksgiving but i'm shredding some cheese (for mac & cheese) and gonna make some deviled eggs so i'm prepping that stuff right now.
anyone else???

I have a pecan pie in the oven... and I'm about to start on my cranberry sauce (loaded with dried fruits and fresh pears  )

I just finished. I thought I really screwed up the green bean cassarole- I saved it, I origianlly added too much liquid. I saved it, with some cheese whiz. I also made a brownie pie and spinach artichoke dip. Now I can sleep in the morning.

i'm trying to decide about my mac and cheese---did you put all the ingredients together and then you'll bake it up tomorrow?
i'm trying a recipe out from a friend and its soooo good when her mom does it. real southern style mac & cheese---but i'm thinking i am supposed to do everything at once, when its fresh. like RIGHT after draining the elbow mac--i add the cheese, butter, milk, egg, etc. i don't know if i should just combine it all NOW and put it in the fridge or do it tomorrow. hmmm

I just finished my chocolate pudding cake... I don't think it came out that well, so I think I am going to have to make another one in the morning. I also made lemon bars tonight.

I did the apple pie, ham rolls, ham dip, pumpkin pie, rolls, and cut up the potatoes, cut up sweet potatoes, i'm thawing the shrimp and veggies, and We baked the acorn squash 1time. It saved us about 4hrs for this morning

Last night I made, mac n cheese, lasagna, cornbread dressing. I also put my turkey in a brine.
It's 5:40am here, so I'm going to take a nap and then put the turkey in the oven around 8am. I have the ham, mashed sweet potatoes, green beans and collard greens to make.

I got everything ready so I just have to pop the turkey in the oven at 10am and heat everything else up.
