Who else is working on their Summer feet?!
I'm not a mani/pedi person, so i'm taking on the task of summer-izing my feet on my own. I used to have perfect feet, but lately they've been so dry (not just this winter either- last summer, too). So, i've started the process of getting those nice feet back!
After every shower, i do my foot routine: clean under the nails, clear away the cuticles, ped egg the problem areas and then moisturize (i use a peppermint lotion and really massage into the toes). Then, aquaphor the heels and bottoms of my feet (especially massaging it into the dry patches). Then put thick socks on to lock it in. I also put aquaphor on my feet and then socks very night for bed now (i used to HATE sleeping with socks on, but i use lighter cotton socks- a small price to pay for beautiful feet
I've noticed an Amazing difference already! I want silky smooth feet this summer!!!
Anyone else doing something similar?

No, buy I need to start badly!! I was going to get a mani/pedi soon, but nails keep breaking due to the cold weather so I thought the mani would be a waste.

Re: Who else is working on their Summer feet?!
I am obsessive about my feet (hands too)! I love getting pedis but I really prefer to do it myself - I think I do a better job
I have a pumice stone that I use in the shower and I actually use a very coarse nail file for my heels when they get very dry. I usually just use body creme for my feet but I have used vaseline in the past and saw a bigger difference - I'll have to try that again. Always wear socks to bed it makes a big difference!

Your routine sounds great! But I know I would never be able to stick to it.
Usually I don't get pedicures in the winter. This winter has really done a number on my skin (including my feet), so I'm trying to stick to getting pedicures regularly. I also use the ped egg a few times a week.

Yes, I am. Last week I noticed how dry my feet were I whipped out that pumice and now use it for a minute after I shower. At nights before bed I drench my feet esp. heels and cuticles with vaseline then put on socks - woolen or cotton.
