Our huge client party is cancelled. As for our office dinner..I have no idea..nothing has been said, but as prior posters said I"d rather have a bonus or the cost of living raise that we haven't gotten in over 2 years

I work for a union so the BIG one with all of the unions was cancelled but we still will have our own with just our office. I never went to the big one anyway. LOL

DH still hasn't heard one way or the other about their dinner. We're hoping they cancel it, it's usually a snooze-fest anyway. The employees all still talk shop and the spouses just sit there. Would rather use the babysitter for a night out for just DH and I.

Our was cancelled. We normally have to work a 1/2 day xmas eve, but now we have the whole day off since we are not having the party.
