Who has the best artificial trees?
I think we're about ready to convert from real to artificial but it has to be a great one! Now that fortunoff is gone I'm not sure where to go? And how much to expect to have to spend. I know it will be cheaper if we wait til after xmas and we might but I'm not sure yet. Part of me would like one now. Thanks!

Re: Who has the best artificial trees?
having worked at harrows for 4 years i can tell you they have beautiful trees but they are expensive....i can also tell you that if you want to save at harrows skip over the day after xmas sale (which has huge lines) and go the few days prior to xmas because it is almost the exact same price with no lines....
bj's has a few nice ones this year as well as sears.... we just looked at a bunch at both of them because our tree is just too huge

Surprisingly we just got a really good one at Michael's. They don't have many but there are a couple that look pretty real.

Re: Who has the best artificial trees?
can i tell you to not look for the "best"?
here's why: shove tree up or down stairs during storage, parts are destroyed, like it or not. no matter my or DH's best mood... we constantly "shove" it at some point ...
anyway, so pieces fall off, lights go off, icicles come off... whatever!! don't go for the best. don't think this is a car and you are going to have it for the rest of your life...
anyway, go into the purchase of it as.. it will get me through a few years.
the price of real trees are about $60.00 per year, if you want to get 3 years out of it... spend $180.00... KWIM??
sorry, it's just the way it is.
Gosh, if i still had my g'mas tree, everyone would call me the Charlie brown of DEAD Christmas trees...

Re: Who has the best artificial trees?
We shopped at Target, Wal Mart, Home Depot and Sears, and Sears had the best selection of trees IMO. Thats where we got ours from.

Re: Who has the best artificial trees?
I don't know if it's the "best," but we got a Martha Stewart tree a few years ago from KMart, and it was on right par with the others we'd looked at, pre-lit, and priced better. Just shop around, even online, see what you like and what you're willing to pay after you've looked at the comparables.
