Who is looking forward to Mother's Day?
I am looking forward to being with my mother and seeing my grandmoms......but, usually at these gatherings are other family members esp. cousins with BABIES and I don't think I could handle it. 1)-seeing cousins with their babies and 2)-family members asking questions.
Also, two years ago, I found out I was pg on mother's day and later miscarried.

Re: Who is looking forward to Mother's Day?
It's hard for me. Infertility issues but also my mom died when I was eight. As I approach the age at which she died, and I don't have children myself, it hurts more. For many years I was ok with it but now it bothers me from both ends.
MIL will be out of state at SIL's house.

Re: Who is looking forward to Mother's Day?
I know I don't post much on the infertility board...but, I just wanted to join in to say that I am NOT looking forward to Mother's Day AT ALL.
This was supposed to be my FIRST Mother's Day...and although technically I am a mother, my little Patrick is no longer with me and Sunday is going to be such a HARD day. I was so confused as to what I wanted to do so I invited my family over for a BBQ...I want to keep myself as busy as I possibly could.
I also want to give all you ladies many
We've all been through a lot and I hope one day soon we can HAPPILY join in on a Mother's Day thread!

When I read the title of this post, I thought of you. I hope you can find a way to enjoy the day with your family, and know that you will be in my thoughts that day.

I'm not, besides the fact that I'm not a mom yet, I just lost my grandmother last week so I think I'd be really happy if the day passes quickly...
to all of us!

Re: Who is looking forward to Mother's Day?
My mom will be away so we will probably do something with my MIL -- NOT looking forward to that!!
I would have had 2 babies to celebrate with but life is not always fair.
Hoping next year will be a great Mother's Day for all of us.
