Who is really good at finding shoes online?
So I had to go shoe shopping for shoes to go with the gown I bought for the big event. I was having no luck. Then at DSW I found a pair of Stuart Weitzman shoes that were at least okay in terms of comfort but they were $230 and not wonderful. Then I found a very similar pair of Van Eli shoes for $44.95 and they were more comfortable than the Stuart Weitzmans . The tricky part is that no DSW store seems to have my size in stock in the color that I need. I can't find the style online even though Van Eli shoes are everywhere online . In my travels I bought some everyday shoes and I already overspent. I need to have my dress altered and I need shoes fast. I bought the Van Elis in another color that I can wear and use for the alterations but I will only do that if I know I have the ones I need on order. Who can help?

No, because I still have not found them online but I may be able to take a photo of the same shoes in the other color I bought. They are Ditto by Van Eli and the style name is Francy. Something totally different comes up as Francie, though. I wonder if the name I have is only used at DSW. They are almost flat but they will be dressy enough to wear with a gown. I don't like heels and now I need foot surgery but I will not be having it before this event. I hope I can find something comfortable.

Well, I had to devote about 8 hours to it today but I finally got the shoes and I went right to meet with the tailor for the alterations. I'm glad it's done. Now I need a bag!!!!

The DSW in Queens Center Mall had them. They were not answering calls at that location yesterday. It's a long story but my husband drove from Suffolk to Queens twice today because of these shoes. The first time he went, he was trying to get them for me while I slept late. I didn't even know he was going to do that. Then came home with 2 different size shoes, then we called the store and they almost refused to check for the right ones. Finally we took a ride back to Queens and I got my shoes! I think I see Van Eli shoes in a lot of places. I sometimes shop at Annie Sez and I think maybe they have them. That was going to be my next place to check. Also, when I was searching I saw that Nordstrom carries them. HTH!
