who is this willy the painter?

the last guy who painted my living room didnt do the best job and he just STOPPED showing up!!! and wouldnt return our phone calls. can someone tell me how much he charges? thanks!

Ah, Willy. He's an Irish fellow who has an accent that will make you want to do an Irish jig.

I can tell you this much - I have had a million painters come in and give estimates for my rooms....for ridiculous amounts of money.

Willy came in under their quotes. He gives a fair pricing. His prices don't shock you; they seem fair and what you would expect.

Willy also works alone, which keeps costs down.

Paint is not included in the price for us (we get the same discount he does on paint, so we said we would just get it ourselves). He recommends Ben Moore paint, but will use whatever you like.


I had previously hired some jerkoff and his friend who painted 2 rooms and did such a $hitty job. Willy saw what he did and explained where the guy went wrong (but he didn't bash him, which I liked.)


I really trust the girls on here, and enough people raved about Willy, that I figured, let's see.

He came over for an estimate and was awesome. He had just come from another LIFer's house.

I got a great impression of him and he will be doing us in the start of January.

I am confident he will do a good job.
