The judge ruled temporarily that joe gets them. It was because he was the primary caregiver for their entire life.
Actually it makes perfect sense but it doesnt' make me want to kick him in the shins any less.

temporary custody was awarded to the husband because he has always been the primary care taker & the judge wanted to keep stability in the kids life.

I didn't watch last years season in its entirety.... I know the business was going bankrupt because of the father... How did they survive?

I cried my eyes out when Sarah had to say goodbye to her kids -- so sad. It really hit home for me

They found that he had invested in some property that the government needed & got millions for it. Holly took her money & invested in a winery.
