Who knows ANYTHING about baseball? I need to buy tix for DH.

I want to buy my DH and my FIL Mets tickets for their bdays. (FIL's is today, DH is Saturday).

I am looking at Stubhub and want to know if Mets vs. Marlins is a good game. Or your recommendations. Also, what seats are good in Shea- without breaking the bank. I'd spend up to $100 for both tix.

Mets v Marlins is an OK game (not great though). I would recommend v Atlanta (which they are playing over the next 3 days) and again in Sept I think. My DH is a Dodgers fan so we always go to Shea for that and it's fun (that's the first weekend in Sept).

Honestly, if your DH is a Mets fan, he would love ANY game. My DH is a huge baseball fan and loves to go to any game.

Mets vs. Phillies

Any inter-league play games (Mets vs. a team from the American League)...those might be done for this year, though... I am not sure.

The orange and blue seats are the best in Shea.

We're going on Friday night and I know my DH is really excited. Friday night is also free t-shirt day. I'm not sure how good seats you could get for $100...We sat in the lower level last weekend but they were over $70 each. The luge (sp?) level is also very good, but maybe more pricey than you want to spend.

just asked DH, he recommended the game against the Braves or the Phillies if you are willing to wait til Sept.

Field level on ebay would be the best bet for the price you want to spend!
