Who says things like this?
So I went into a gas station to buy some beer on the way to a friends house the other night...the cashier asks for my id, I show it to her..
She then asks if I am married (I assume she saw my rings...so I say "yes")
She then asks if I have any kids and I say "yes, I just had a baby"
She replies "oh I figured you did because you look alot heavier than you do in your license picture"
who says that to someone....I was so floored, I did not even know what to say...what a B!TCH.....

"Why do you need to know?"
It usually ends the inquiry

and just walked out and left it at that....

ick!! that is just one of those times where we all are like "i wouldve said this, or i wouldve said that"...when i think really, my jaw wouldve have dropped,  , and i wouldve been getting into my car, saying, DAMN, i shouldve said something about how heavy SHE was and probly didnt have ANY kids, or SOMEthing....
my husband always says, when in doubt, just say "who cares? youre ugly anyway..."
haha, would work maybe, too....

I agree with Leo! It is all of the out-of-towners that come here that ruin it for everyone!
Personally, I think that NYers are the nicest! We just go about our business and "frig" everyone else
