Who to call for a clothing donation p/u
I'm doing my spring cleaning and have bags of clothes that are in good condition, but haven't worn in a while.
Does anyone know of a charitable organization (besides the Salvation Army) in Suffolk that will pick the stuff up?

Beth Jacobs does pick-ups monthly. The woman who calls is very sweet - asks if you have anything. If not, they just call back next month. You leave the stuff outside and they leave your charitable receipt in the mailbox.

We cash clothes picks up. I've arranged it online and you just leave it outside your house and they leave you a little receipt for tax purposes.

I've been using wecashclothes.com
Donations go to either Suffolk County PAL, LI Charities or PAL.
You can arrange pick up either through phone or the website. A donation receipt is left after pick up.

Did you have any luck with wecashclothes.com? I emailed them to pick up over a week ago, they never got back to me.
I call today, a rude lady tells me they don't service my zip code (North Shore in Sufolk). She was so rude. I told her it doesn't say anything about not servicing certain areas on their website. Whatever...back to the drawing board.
ETA: Any other ideas for eastern Suffolk? I've searched all over online. I have like 8 garbage bags full of clothing, I don't want to have to lug it somewhere if I don't have to, and I need the receipt for taxes. Thanks

Funny you mentioned them. Today is supposed to be my p/u day. I hope they come, if not, I'll put them in the clothing bin by the Deer Park train station.

call mary from the second chance ranch. she takes donations of anything and gives tax receipts she's out of port jeff. 631 331 1276
