I get the Improvements catalog and like a lot of stuff in it but have never purchased from them. I saw this on their website:

From looking at their website, they claim to be environmentally friendly. It looks kind of like a hydrogen peroxide reaction when it's cleaning, and you just rinse it off. I would never scrape or brush my roof shingles with anything but if you spray it and then hose it, I wonder if it would work...
