who was your fav person to deal with
Who was your fav person to deal with in the home buying/selling process. Right now I would have to say my home insurance broker- maybe it's because she has the simplest job but she is delightful! When I bought my co-op it was my RE agent, he was very helpful.
I can't even tell you how many people I hate dealing with this time around though!

I'd have to say our mortgage broker, he was great at explaining everything and he used to call both of us each time he needed to go over something to make sure we understood it.

I'd have to go with the Realtor. She was personal friends with the woman who owned the house before us (the woman passed, so we bought an estate sale). The REA patiently walked us through everything, fought with the Executrix (another close friend, btw) for us and really did everything she could to make sure we got the house. She felt it belonged to us based on the circumstances leading us to the house.
Shortly after we moved in she brought us a lovely housewarming gift and stayed to have tea with me...and for Christmas that year she sent us a subscription to BHG magazine.
We still email every so often.

Our mortgage broker has always been my favorite person to deal with. She was with us for the purchase of our coop and then our house. She is the sweetest person and has always done right by us. She always goes above and beyond.
