Who works in NYC but lives on LI?
I do and I'm not looking forward to working up until the last minute.
Any advice?

I do...i'm trying not to think about it... I figure i will stop working two weeks before due date...I'm paranoid about going into labor early at work.

I do.
Maybe if I give birth on the LIRR I'll get a lifetime free ticket.

For yours (or ours) I hope you do not give birth on the LIRR, but a lifetime free ticket would be nice!!

I do. I'm 22 weeks. It's tough, but not impossible. I did it with my first son too,but was taken out of work around 2 months early.

Re: Who works in NYC but lives on LI?
I did--worked in Brooklyn and lived on LI and took mass transit the whole pregnancy.
It wasn't so bad until the very end when everything was uncomfortable to me. That was also when I stopped getting offers of seats on the subway. The last week or two were a struggle, but before that I didn't feel too bad at all.

I do! My last day is monday and I will be 38 weeks. It was fine up until this past week. I just can't do all the stairs and walking anymore.

So do I... I can't stand my commute as it is (2hours each way door to door) not sure how much fun this will be once the belly is 3x larger...
