Who works/is going back to work?

Just wondering who works - do you work part time or full time? I am thinking about coming back to work full time for a year, then possibly going part time. I'm just wondering if anyone works full time or do you think its impossible?

Well, I am lucky in that my job allowed me to take a year off, and hold my position.
But I will be going back full time in September.

I am going back to work FT. However, I am working a compressed workweek which means I am working Friday hours between M-Th.

We have family who are going to watch the boys while i work and I work pretty close so could be home in a few minutes.

After a year we will probably look into daycare PT.

If we needed to put the boys in daycare it would of been very hard to go back to work. IT would of cost us between $26,000 - $30,000 per year to do so from what i started to price out. The Nanny option at home would of been less (but then again that was woman who were willing to watch one for that price, i don't know if they charged double for 2).

I am hoping to skip lunch and work 8-4 each day. I know its going to be so much but we just bought a house 3 months ago and we need the $. I also have 1 more MBA class to finish and my company will reimburse me so I'd like that $ too - but I'm also scared of the time factor. I guess I'll try it and see how it goes.

I went back to work Full Time after 3 months. I am lucky in that DH gets home at 1:00 so we only needed 1/2 day daycare and found a girl that comes in for 10 per hour and had experience with watching twins. Lately I have been staying home on Thursdays, but will be going back to 5 days a week very soon.

I try to get all personal stuff done on my lunch hour so that I don't have to make any stops before getting home.

I'll be going back F/T. I was laid off shortly into my pregnancy, which ended up beng a godsend as i was so sick. Now, unemployment will be running out, so we will really need the money.
