Whoa...stop the presses and TMI
I finished my period 2 weeks ago. today I am having pain and heavy spotting.
I have NEVER spotted in my life.
I don't think I could be preggo. (last sex was last weekend, about 8 days after my period ended)
I almost want to go to the hospital.
help me.

I would call your DR's office and run it by them.
I hope you feel better.

Re: Whoa...stop the presses and TMI
Do you have a GP? I'd just call him or her to ask. If necessary, they can probably refer you to a GYN.

Re: Whoa...stop the presses and TMI
IT happens sometimes.. is it heavy or just a few spots here and there? If its just a little spotting, I wouldnt worry. Have you switched BC?

Re: Whoa...stop the presses and TMI
Spotting around the time you would be ovulating is totally normal. the first time it happened to me i was 28, then it only happened sporadically. now it happens more often. Unless it is really heavy, there is no need for concern.

Re: Whoa...stop the presses and TMI
I just turned 32 last week. I am probably ovulating now. it's enough to leave a red stripe (KWIM), but it was worse earlier.
thanks for the feedback ladies. I've been a bit "off" lately stress wise, so that is ringing true to me.
I willl DEFINITELY make an appt with a new doc though.
I hope there is nothing else wrong. I'd like a baby someday.

Re: Whoa...stop the presses and TMI
Actually I FREAKED when this first started happening to me - but if you google it, ovulation spotting is actually an excellent sign of fertility, not to mention it makes your fertile time easier to identify when TTC. It should not affect your ability to get pregnant but you should let your doctor know that you have experienced this.

Very interesting, thanks for sharing.
And yes, definitely get your butt to a doctor just to be sure everything is OK!

Re: Whoa...stop the presses and TMI
I spotted for months in between periods and just figured it was from my BCP when I had casually mentioned it to my OB she sent me for a sono and it turned out I had fibroids.
