Whoever recommended the heated John Frieda brush - thank you!!
I recently cut my hair short and was having trouble learning how to style it. Bought the brush yesterday, and today I let my hair dry most of the way then ran the John Frieda brush through. The blowing air is just strong enough to work but not blow my hair all over the place. The heat is just hot enough to work without burning my scalp or fingers. The bristles grip my fine hair without pulling too hard. I wish I knew about this brush sooner!

Does it actually get hot? I have one and it never gets hot. Maybe mine is broken. Its not good for my thick hair but I've use it on my dd thinner hair and its ok.

Do you use it with your blow dryer? How would it work on long hair?

No the heat blows out of vents in the brush. I am not sure about long hair but I have super fine, super soft, super flat hair and it didn't work at all for me. I think I need a smaller barreled brush or something since my hair is so shittyy

It's great. I have really long hair (about 3 inches past bra)..I bulk dry my hair with the regular dryer, then finish the last 15% with this.

I bought it and tried using it on my super thick wavy hair and it was not good. lol I have said may just be user error but didn't work any miracles for me.

I bought it and it's OK, but not nearly as good as just using my blow dryer and a round brush. My hair comes out much smoother with blow dryer and brush. The John Frieda brush leaves my hair slightly frizzy (relatively speaking). I have medium-thick and wavy hair.

This is very different from the other one. This is a curling iron. The other blows your hair out. I like this for a fancier day, not everyday.

this isnt a curling iron. it's a hair dryer. you press a button and it rolls your hair in and out. it's like using a barrel brush while blow dying your hair.

Maybe I am using it wrong & rushing the process. I ordered it & tried it twice & it left my hair a little frizzy with static.

Re: Whoever recommended the heated John Frieda brush - thank you!!
So I asked for it from Santa and got it. I have very thick, wavy, long hair. I like using it but it takes a LONG time because my hair is so thick. With that said, I'm sure with a haircut it will look be a lot easier.. The final look is perfect for me. It's like.. blown out (no frizz) with curly ends).

Totally agree! I have this & love it! It's by far a curling iron! I dry my hair 90% with dryer & then style with this using the "rotating" brush option to give a flip or honestly just a fuller lift then when you use regular dryer & barrel brush. The direct heat on your hair is perfect!
