Whole Foods
One just opened by me. Haven't had a chance to go in and check it out. Wanted to know the best things to purchase there. We have a Wegmans by us too. Figured I'd hear some of your favs worth getting.

may i ask where you live?! wegmans is supposed to be the disneyworld of all supermarkets. im so jealous!!!

LOL! I do love wegmans, but it gets crowded. I mostly buy the Wegmans brand too bc they make good foods and products that's less. I live in Central NJ. There's a Wegmans about 6 - 7 mins from me and now they just opened a Whole Foods even closer so makes it hard to shop! 
Figured I'd go check out Whole Foods, but since I have the two boys with me I'd ask what everyone's fav is since I can't spend too much time there before I start rushing out.

I LOVE WEGMANS WAY MORE THAN WHOLE FOODS. but i like whole foods for their organic meats, their cheese section, the fresh fish, and I stock up on their generic pretzels and bread crumbs and some other staples. Don't have a wegmans so not sure if I'd stick with whole foods if I did.

Whole Foods
I love their unsalted peanut butter. I don't know what wegmans is like but the produce, meat and fish selection at whole foods is great. My favorite thing about whole foods is the buy by bulk section - it's grains, rices, nuts, etc....it's so nice to buy what I need instead of a whole package so its definitely a money saver. The one by me has an excellent deli section with prepared foods and a brick oven pizza section too. I really like the 365 brand stuff.
When i go there I always buy their fresh mozz, whole wheat pizza dough, organic butter, cheddar cheese, 365 organic ketchup....they also have a delicious salad topper I love, feta, macaroons and almonds yum!!
