Whole Foods Delivery by Amazon?
Anyone use this? Apparently it's available to me with 2 hr delivery but the closest whole foods stores about 45 min from me. Does anyone know if they deliver in temp controlled trucks? I would love to try it...

I would just verify that it is available. I thought it was for me but it turns out it wasn’t. I don’t think they use temp controlled vehicles but I think I see them use special bags. I could be wrong though. Maybe give a call to the one near you.

I use them constantly and like BFNY said, they don’t used temp controlled vehicles but they do use special bags for things that need to be refrigerated or frozen and they keep the items in their own fridges/freezers til it’s time to deliver the groceries. Give them a try, it’s very convenient. Oh and I still don’t understand why in the world they won’t open another location out East.

I have used them a bunch of times. It's personal drivers (Like Instacart or whatever), so the stuff is just put in their own vehicles.

I used them a lot during the Pandemic. I have one very close to me.
But I did try to set up a delivery for my MIL in Bellmore about a few months ago; and it wouldn't do it b/c it was too far.
They have silver insulated bags for cold items; but not Temp controlled trucks. Actually they use their own personal cars....
But otherwise, yes, its great! I love them.

I'm assuming it's like stop and shop. No temp controlled trucks, but they are packed very well. They had dry ice in with my meats to keep them very cold.
My dumb asss picked up the dry ice and examined it for a minute because I thought it was another package of meat wrapped up- got a pretty nice burn on my fingertips!
