whoohoo- DH got a new job!!!
We are so excited! He got the official offer today and gave notice at his job, his last day will be next Friday and then he'll have a week off to hang out with me and get the nursery ready before he starts the new job.
It is an $8000 raise, plus they pay family benefits- which is why he was looking to leave his present job in the first place. We're so relieved that we're not going to be forking over $1000 a month for insurance for me and the baby.

 congrats! my dh and I pay that now for "family" insurance and it's a big chunk out of our pocket but it is really good insurance. luckily his pay is pretty decent and we haven't felt a need to have him look for another job. stressful job though. now if only he could make the same kind of money with paid benefits selling fishing poles on the boardwalk....
